SWEET!. Anza Reggae Madness is throwing another amazing reggae party! D.J’s and live Reggae, with special guests NATURAL FLAVA’S playing live. Irie Ital is serving a very Irie dinner! We have dinner starting @ 8pm. WHATS ON THE MENU? $15 gets you Ital coconut rice and peas, D’s Irie curry, raw slaw, a delicious vegan patty, and fresh homemade ginger beer! Yum. Ital is Vital!
The word “Ital” is derived from the word “Vital” with the first syllable replaced by “I”
Rastas do this with many words to show the oneness of the speaker with all of nature in an endless circle of inity (unity).
Ital cooking uses foods that are natural, pure and from the earth.
Ingredients have to be the most natural possible. The food we eat is sacred: because what we eat; we become!
Ital foods increase our “Livity”, the life energy that is within us all. What we put in our body should increase livity rather than reduce it.
So let’s eat from the tree of life and nourish our body mind and soul!
